Champaran Nursing College proudly marked World Hepatitis Day with an engaging and informative event aimed at spreading awareness about hepatitis prevention, treatment, and global elimination goals. This year’s theme, “Hepatitis Can’t Wait”, reminded us that early detection and timely care are crucial in combating this silent but deadly disease.
The program began with a warm welcome address by the college principal, who emphasized the role of nurses as frontline warriors in preventing and managing hepatitis. Expert speakers from the medical community shared valuable insights about the causes, symptoms, modes of transmission, and preventive measures for different types of hepatitis. Interactive sessions, poster presentations, and quizzes kept the participants actively engaged.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the certificate distribution ceremony. All participants — including students, faculty members, and volunteers — were honored for their enthusiasm and commitment. The certificates not only recognized their active participation but also symbolized the college’s encouragement for continuous learning and community service.
Through this event, Champaran Nursing College reaffirmed its dedication to creating health-aware communities and empowering future nurses with both knowledge and compassion. By joining hands with global efforts, we believe that together, we can work towards a hepatitis-free world.
💚 Together for a healthier tomorrow — because hepatitis can’t wait!
