Champaran Nursing College Celebrates 79th Independence Day with Pride and Patriotism

On 15th August 2025, the campus of Champaran Nursing College was filled with the colors of the tricolor, the sound of patriotic songs, and the spirit of unity as students, faculty, and staff came together to celebrate the 79th Independence Day of India.

The celebrations began with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Guest of Honour Maulana Abdul Haque, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. The moment was filled with pride as everyone stood in attention, honoring the sacrifices of countless freedom fighters who gifted us this independence.

The event featured cultural performances by students, including patriotic songs, and short skits depicting India’s freedom struggle. A special speech competition was held where students shared their thoughts on India’s journey from 1947 to the present, highlighting the role of healthcare and nursing in nation-building.

The Secretary of college addressed the gathering, reminding everyone of the values of dedication, compassion, and service—values that resonate deeply with the nursing profession. He emphasized that as future healthcare professionals, our duty is not only to care for patients but also to contribute towards the progress and well-being of the nation.

The celebration concluded with a tree plantation drive in the college garden, symbolizing growth, sustainability, and a greener future for the generations to come.

At Champaran Nursing College, Independence Day is not just about remembering the past, but also about inspiring the future—instilling in our students the responsibility to serve the nation with skill, compassion, and unwavering dedication.
