An Anti-Ragging Cell is a dedicated body within an educational institution established to prevent and address incidents of ragging. Ragging, a form of harassment or bullying often directed at new students, is strictly prohibited, and the Anti-Ragging Cell works to ensure a safe and welcoming environment on campus. The cell is responsible for spreading awareness about the harmful effects of ragging, monitoring campus activities to detect any such incidents, and providing a confidential platform for students to report cases of ragging. It also conducts investigations into reported cases and takes appropriate disciplinary action against those involved. By fostering a culture of respect and safety, the Anti-Ragging Cell plays a crucial role in protecting students’ rights and well-being.
